Come to a Welcome Home party for the Karen family, a refugee family who arrived in late June from Myanmar (formerly known as Burma). The party is scheduled for Sunday, September 25, 3:30-5:30 PM in the Parish Hall and will be hosted by the Refuge for Refugees Committee. We will have food, a Welcome Home cake, coffee, and lemonade. And we will have a translator to assist you in communicating with the family. Let’s party!
The Vestry Nominating Committee is currently seeking nominations for Vestry members! Vestry terms are three years with the upcoming class beginning January 2017. Parishioners are encouraged to submit names of individuals who could potentially serve on the Vestry. Nomination submissions are due October 2, 2016.
